In class today, we had a discussion about why many Japanese tourists do not go to Mongolia. Lots of points about why came up, and one point which made a lot of sense was that compared to other countries which many go to for a tour, there aren't much information out to the public about tourism of Mongolia. I'm sure people could find ways to go to Mongolia if they really wanted to, but the current situation is that to many people, Mongolia is not much of an intriguing place.
